CPI Teams 2022/23

In fall 2022, the CPI program started a new round at all Lower Austrian universities of applied sciences. The Creative Pre-Incubator offers participants the opportunity to develop their early-staged business ideas. Support in the form of individual coaching and feedback sessions with experts, as well as workshops tailored to the ideas, are used to fine-tune the business concepts.

In this round, numerous applicants faced the critical questions of our jury, which decides on their acceptance into the program. The most convincing teams were welcomed to the CPI shortly afterwards and have been working intensively on their ideas ever since.

These are our teams

UAS St. Pölten

These are our four teams at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten: Lento, SkillSwap, Colegio and Stafety.

Colegio is a platform that supports teachers in their lesson planning, with a focus on crowd-sourcing and networking. The vision that Lena and Marlies are following is to support the digitalization and modernization of the school system.

Lento follows the concept of a mobile application that allows users to share their experience with music with others. Basically, it is a social platform based on Spotify, where users can rate, comment and share songs, artists and albums. Some of the many features offered include discovering other users with similar musical tastes, daily recommendations for new songs or albums customized to personal listening habits, or viewing well-designed data visualizations of one's Spotify profile.

SkillSwap is changing the application process and the opportunities for professional development. In their platform, Isabella and Christoph put skills in the spotlight and therefore enable equal opportunities among applicants.

Stafety accompanies young adults, especially women and people from socially marginalized groups, safely on their way home. Denise, Chiara and Gela enable personal exchange and the immediate possibility of receiving help by combining different functions in the app.

UAS Wiener Neustadt Campus Wieselburg

Dogmatch, Unicus Insects, Taste Your City and consale are our CPI teams at the UAS Wiener Neustadt Campus Wieselburg.

Dogmatch connects responsible dog breeders with loving dog owners. Lorenz and Johannes provide the platform for transparent and safe puppy buying.

Patricia and Alexander from Unicus Insects fatten black soldier fly larvae on by-products of the feed & food industry, which can be used as a meat & fish substitute in animal feed. This allows animal feed producers to reduce the carbon footprint of their products while also increasing animal health through the health benefits of insect protein. There is no waste as the larvae faeces are used as organic bio-fertiliser.

With Taste Your City, Lukas brings interested people together with sustainable businesses and producers in his innovative event concept. One Saturday a month, participants have the opportunity to get to know and try out 8 to 10 sustainable businesses and their offerings on a self-guided tour.

With consale, Sascha, Erik and Phillip offer a platform on which, in a simple form and with a few clicks, you can package your cooking recipes, instruction manuals, building instructions, blog articles and everything else in cross-border user interfaces and sort, organise and sell them at the same time. Easy as one, two, three.

UAS Wiener Neustadt

Our teams this year in the CPI/accelerator+ programme at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt are re:flair and Mei Jausen.

re:flair is a digital platform by Thomas and Tom where fashion enthusiasts can network with fashion designers with the aim of giving their clothes a second life. This is to be done primarily by fashion designers upcycling the clothes of fashion enthusiasts and creating unique items from them.

Mei Jausen offers parents and grandparents the possibility to hand over the daily preparation of the snack boxes of their (grand)children and thus save stress and additional time. With his solution, Andreas delivers a simple, healthy and sustainable daily freshly prepared snack box directly to the school or kindergarten.

IMC UAS Krems

Sunny Packaging, dispatch, Verdes and Fanof.io are our teams in the CPI at IMC UAS Krems.

Barbara and Florian from Sunny Packaging develop sustainable packaging material that can be obtained from agricultural waste and is also compostable and CO2 neutral.

The team of dispatch, Roua, Sara, Kvetoslava, Melvin and Dominik are developing an application that enables travellers and people who want to send a parcel to be connected and the deliver the parcel to the desired location.

Fanof.io is a digital platform that takes the fan and star interaction to the next level! With Fanof.io, fans can connect with their favourite stars from all over the world without having to leave their homes. On the other hand, stars can offer their fans a unique and personal experience they will never forget.

Verdes Microgreens delivers fresh, healthy and locally sourced greens directly from their vertical farms in the city to consumers' plates. Dishes can be enhanced and complemented with healthy, unique and tasty sprouts.

The CPI was developed in cooperation between the FH St. Pölten and the accent incubator.
